The firm

Anghel Stabb & Partners (“ASP”) is an independent full service law firm, which has been advising its national and international clients on doing business in Romania since 1998.

ASP brings together a highly dedicated and enthusiastic team of experienced lawyers, which offers investors in-depth local experience and knowledge in all relevant areas of Romanian law, together with a thorough appreciation of the commercial requirements and professionalism expected by its international clientele in respect of high standards of service and the provision of pragmatic and commercial advice.

With more than 20 years’ experience, the firm’s clients are able to benefit from its deep and wide-ranging experience, fusing legal excellence and quality of service with a pragmatic results-oriented approach. The firm’s managing partner is David Stabb, who is a British solicitor and a registered lawyer with the Bucharest Bar. He has worked in Romania for more than 20 years, first as a partner in the Bucharest office of the City of London law firm, Sinclair Roche & Temperley (later known as Stephenson Harwood) and, from April 2004, in the present firm.

The Romanian lawyers in the team are led by Ana Anghel, who is a Romanian avocat and heads the litigation and employment law practices. All lawyers in the ASP team have extensive commercial experience derived from their backgrounds advising investors on corporate transactions, especially involving mergers and acquisitions, real estate transactions, private equity investments and divestments and corporate restructurings.

All Romanian members of the team are fully fluent in English, French and Romanian.
