Raising a Loan Facility by LisichanskUgol Open Joint Stock Company

Lavrynovych & Partners Law Firm acted as a Ukrainian law adviser in the process of providing state guarantees for raising an $85,000,000 long-term loan facility to reconstruct and modernize the mines of LisichanskUgol OJSC. The loan agreement was signed by China Development Bank, a state-run Chinese bank, and the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine on December 28, 2011. This is the first time in history that China Development Bank has extended a loan to a Ukrainian enterprise.

In the Case Seeking Invalidation and Reversal of Tax Notification Decisions and Fines in the Amount of UAH 550,000

Under an agreement with the international law firm White & Case, Lavrynovych & Partners has advised the Ukrainian Finance Ministry in the process of negotiating and signing a guarantee agreement for a USD 372,313,538 loan obtained by the state-run Directorate for Construction and Management of National Project "Air Express" and by other Kyiv regional infrastructure facilities from the Export-Import Bank of China.
