Position

As partner at Ţuca Zbârcea & Asociaţii, Oana Ureche focuses on real estate, corporate and commercial, as well as mergers and acquisitions. She has particular strength in corporate acquisition and sale transactions, related financing issues and preparation of complex sale-purchase operations, having advised both sellers and buyers in sophisticated transactions. She is skilled in drafting of merger plans, due diligence reports and documents substantiating several transactions as well as in negotiating various types of transaction documents. Furthermore, Oana Ureche has been involved in major retail, residential and office development projects, as well as in defining infrastructure projects and has acquired significant experience in matters involving structuring of complex transactions. Her work experience also includes important privatization projects, especially in the electricity and banking sectors.

Career

Partner with Ţuca Zbârcea & Asociaţii since January 2008, Oana Ureche has an experience of 12 years in the legal field. Coordinator and member of the legal teams retained by important companies, she was directly involved in some outstanding projects as: assisting Gabriel Resources Ltd. / Rosia Montana Gold Corporation on all real estate matters in connection with a USD 4,000,000,000 project for the exploration and exploitation of the biggest and oldest gold mining site in Europe located at Rosia Montana, in West-Central part of Romania; member of the legal team assisting AZVI and Vimac in connection with a EUR 67,000,000 contract for the refurbishment of Vidin-Calafat Bridge; assisting Enel SpA on the privatization of Distrigaz Nord and Sud, two of the largest Romanian gas distribution companies; advising a CA Immo AG in connection with group`s real estate portfolio in Romania, including Charles de Gaulle Plaza, Bucharest Business Park, Opera Center; assistance to Intelcan for the construction and development of Braşov airport; assisting Carrefour in connection with the expansion of the retail sale network of hypermarkets, including advice on specific real estate and general corporate issues, as well as assistance in the transaction for the acquisition of Artima chain of supermarkets comprising 21 outlets. Other clients include Voestalpine, GE Real Estate Central and Eastern Europe, Romania Invest, GEA Prasa, Sanoma Hearst Romania.
