Position

In his capacity as Partner at Ţuca Zbârcea & Asociaţii, Ciprian Dragomir has represented multi-national companies from a variety of industries such as automotive, steel, oil and gas, maritime in connection with their investments in Romania. He is highly skilled in coordinating private takeovers on the stock exchange market. His expertise in relation to capital market operation includes assistance to the main regulatory authorities – the Bucharest Stock Exchange and the Central Depository (sole local depository, clearing and settlement system serving the Bucharest Stock Exchange) – on all legal matters regarding their activities (capital markets, IP, corporate, competition, etc.). A further focus of his practice concerns legal advice on a broad range of environmental law issues, including brownfield development and contaminated land liability, waste management, licensing and permitting, environmental impact assessment, greenfield development. Ciprian Dragomir is also a certified intellectual property counselor for trademarks, coordinating the firm's intellectual property practice group and advising clients on all aspects related to the registration, protection, licensing and transfer of patents, trademarks, copyrights, designs and software. Furthermore, he is also a certified insolvency practitioner and one of the associates in TZA Insolventa S.P.R.L., the firm`s specialised insolvency unit.

Ciprian Dragomir is one of the founding partners of Ţuca Zbârcea & Asociaţii. For the past 13 years, he has offered day to day legal assistance on various legal issues in relation to their activities to preeminent companies such as: Gabriel Resources Ltd. / Rosia Montana Gold Corporation, GED Capital Development, ArcelorMittal, Bucharest Stock Exchange, Friesland, Standard Chartered Bank, Schlumberger, Alcoa Fujikura, VISA International, IKEA, Suzuki, Readers Digest. As certified intellectual property counselor for trademarks and expert in Intellectual Property and Copyrights he acted as legal advisor for numerous clients such as: Philip Morris, Magyar Suzuki, FIFA, Disney, Pfizer, GlaxoSmithKline, Heineken, Michelin, ArcelorMittal, Humanitas, Instantina, Unilever, Readers Digest, Romanian Football Federation, Supreme Chocolat, Orkla Foods, Campari, Kinzo, Rosal, Government of India, Alka, as well as for some well known Romanian NGO-s, writers, painters and TV producers. Ciprian is also specialized in Environmental Law & Permitting, Natural Resources & Mining, Healthcare & Pharmaceutical Law.
