FKA advised on bonds issued by investment fund and introduced to trading on Catalyst
The law firm FKA Furtek Komosa Aleksandrowicz advised ECI-Skarbiec Real Estate Non-Public Asset Closed-End Investment Fund on two issues of this funds secured bonds, with a total value of PLN 45 million, placed in private transaction earlier this year. The Issuer is a closed-end investment fund, whose business includes investing in commercial real estate in Warsaw.
Marek Furtek reappointed President of the Court of Arbitration at the Polish Chamber of Commerce

FKA Furtek Komosa Aleksandrowicz took part in a panel of legal advisors advising Astra Zeneca in relation to the global sale of its Astra Tech dental and medical devices business to the US dental giant Dentsply International. Astra Tech is a global leader in dental and healthcare (urological and surgical) products, services and support. FKA advised on the sale of the Polish part of Astra Tech. The transaction, valued at $1.8 billion, was completed on 31 August 2011.
FKA advises on another tranche of notes issued by BOŚ Bank
The law firm FKA Furtek Komosa Aleksandrowicz has advised Bank Ochrony Środowiska (BOS Bank) on a private placement of 3-year notes issued by BOS Bank in series E and F, with an aggregate face value of PLN 380 million (appr. EUR 86 million), organised with the participation of BRE Bank, Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego and Dom Maklerski BOŚ (the brokerage house).

The law firm FKA Furtek Komosa Aleksandrowicz advised Bank Ochrony Środowiska on the issue of 10-year, series D bonds under a private placement, with a value of PLN 100 million (EUR 25 million), organised with the participation of Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego. The series D bonds are dematerialised, with records kept by the National Depository for Securities (KDPW) and, after the consent of the Financial Supervision Authority (KNF) has been obtained, they will constitute a subordinated loan of the bank.
