A new Senior Associate joined AstapovLawyers
Alexander Bondar has joined AstapovLawyers International Law Group as a Senior Associate. Mr Bondar will reinforce the firm’s International Litigation Department.
Alexander Bondar has joined AstapovLawyers International Law Group as a Senior Associate. Mr Bondar will reinforce the firm's International Litigation Department.
Mr Bondar has over 16 years of experience in international commercial arbitration, local litigation and pre-arbitration settlement of international commercial disputes. Prior to joining AstapovLawyers he headed International Commercial Arbitration and Capital Markets practices at Gvozdiy and Oberkovych Law Firm. He was also Head of Capital Markets practice at Spenser & Kauffmann Law Firm. During his career Alexander Bondar held different positions with Hunton & Williams Law Firm and Central Europe Trust, and was an in-house lawyer with ING Barings Ukraine Bank.
Mr Bondar has extensive experience in advising Ukrainian securities operators on onshore and offshore deal structuring, double tax optimization, anti-money laundry and regulatory issues. He has worked with numerous clients on M&A, private placement and IPO deals.
Alexander Bondar holds an LLM degree in International Commercial Arbitration Law from the Stockholm University (Sweden), and a degree in International Law from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (Ukraine).
