AstapovLawyers expands its CIS dispute resolution practice with new top-tier hires
AstapovLawyers has recently recruited two senior high-level litigators Ivan Mishchenko and Vlad Rieznikov to boost its CIS litigation practice.
AstapovLawyers already has an unprecedented track record of representing clients in national and international corporate disputes, post M&A and shareholder litigations. This new core team willcertainly bring the Firm beyond the competition in the area.
Both newcomers have extensive experience in handling complex corporate disputes for large blue chips, industrial groups and high net worth individuals (oligarchs).
Ivan Mishchenko joined AstapovLawyers as Counsel. Ivan began his legal career in 2003 as a Senior Specialist at Ministry of Justice of Ukraine where he obtained valuable government relations experience. Later Mishchenko moved to Vasil Kisil and Partners, where he held a position of Senior Associate for over 6 years. Prior to join AstapovLawyersIvan Mishchenko was Head of litigation practice at Engarde law firm. While there, he was assisting clients with commercial and administrative litigation, real estate and debt related disputes.

Another important hire: Vlad Rieznikov. Also a former member of Engarde litigation team, Vlad joined as Senior Associate. Mr Rieznikov advised clients on matters related to tax litigation, real estate, debt collection and general business issues with a focus on banking and FMCG sector.
