Oleh Malskyy spoke at the "WTO and Russia" conference in Moscow

Oleh Malskyy, a Partner with AstapovLawyers International Law Group, spoke at the “WTO and Russia: forecasts, risks, practical recommendations for business” conference, which was jointly organized by the International Business Support Centre (IBSC), the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation and AstapovLawyers International Law Group. The event took place at the Congress Centre of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Moscow (Russia) on 18 October.

The conference was the first in a series of events in Russia covering the questions of WTO and giving practical recommendations to Russian small and medium-sized enterprises regarding the necessary steps to prevent numerous threats that arise with the opening of markets, and the use of competitive advantages.

Mr Malskyy spoke about the experience of Ukrainian business on joining WTO, and on new opportunities created by Russia's WTO membership. His speech included several cases of Ukraine / WTO disputes handled by AstapovLawyers extensive legal practice.

Speakers of the conference included professionals from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Ernst&Young, the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, the Russian Organization for Quality, etc. The event was attended by representatives of various committees of State Duma, federal and regional authorities of legislative and executive power, Russian entrepreneurs and investors.
