AstapovLawyers attended International Commercial Arbitration Conference-2012 25 May 2012

Eugene Blinov and Aleksander Frolov participated in «International Commercial Arbitration in Ukraine and the World: yesterday, today, tomorrow», dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the ICAC at the UCCI.

The conference took place in the premises of the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry on 24-25 May 2012.

The conference was highlighted the actual problems of further development of the international arbitration, both in Ukraine and the world, improvement of arbitration procedure and its legal regulation, maintenance of independence and impartiality of arbitrators, interaction of the state courts and arbitration institutions.

The representatives of world leading arbitration institutions, including the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce (Paris), the Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce, the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (London), the ICAC at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, the Arbitration Court attached to the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Arbitration Court attached to the Economic Chamber of the Czech Republic and the Agricultural Chamber of the Czech Republic, the Foreign Trade Court of Arbitration attached to the Chamber of Economy of Serbia, and also the arbitrators of the ICAC at the UCCI, prominent scientists of Ukraine and other countries, lawyers and representatives of the judicial authority were invited to participate in the conference as moderators and reporters.
