AstapovLawyers is an official general sponsor of the Third CIS-EU Legal Forum "EuroLawyer 2010" held on 15-16 April 2010 in London and organized by Eurobusiness Advisory Company (London, UK). This years forum's theme is: "State and Business: joint development perspectives".

AstapovLawyers' Partner and Head of Corporate and M&A practice Mr. Oleh Malskyy will speak during the Session on "State Corporations in CIS countries: governance and reforms perspectives".

AstapovLawyers' Managing Partner and Head of Dispute Resolution and International Arbitration practice, Mr. Andrey Astapov, will speak during the Session on "Challenging and Enforcing Arbitral Awards in CIS: local trends vs. international approach".

Among the main objectives of "EuroLawyer 2010" are:

  • discussions over different approaches to business regulation by CIS and EU State authorities and cooperation perspectives (antimonopoly practice, public-private partnership, privatization practice, invetsment disputes, etc);
  • creation of proposals and suggestions for CIS State authorties with regards to further development of local regulation climate and promotion of regional and international business activities;
  • creation of exclusive networking opportunity for leading CIS and EU officials, lawyers, business executives and other professionals.

EuroLawyer Forum is an annual meeting point for governmental officials, business executives, in-house lawyers, private consultants, legal and business associations representatives and other specialists interested in legal aspects of international business in CIS and EU countries.
