Yossi Markovich is a Partner in the IP Litigation Group of Pearl Cohen’s Herzliya office and Chairman of the IP committee of the Israel Bar Association. He specializes in dispute resolution, with an emphasis on intellectual property litigation. Yossi advises a number of major technology-based companies on a wide range of intellectual property issues involving patents, trademarks, designs, copyrights, trade secrets, counterfeiting and unfair competition. Yossi’s experience includes acting on behalf of major global corporations and academic institutions as well as multinational fashion companies, leading hotel chains, prime broadcasting networks, major retail corporations, and government agencies. Yossi has appeared in intellectual property disputes before the Israel Patents, Designs and Trademarks Office and the entire range of Israeli civil courts and arbitration tribunals, for matters including civil proceedings involving temporary injunctions, seizure orders, oppositions and applications for cancellation, private criminal complaints and administrative actions.


Prior to joining Pearl Cohen, Yossi was an intern in the Haifa District Court. Yossi was appointed in 2015 as Co-Chairman of the Israel Bar Intellectual Property committee,
