Hagit Bavly`s practice focuses on real estate, commercial law and finance.

Hagit has significant experience in a wide variety of commercial transactions, in particular in the field of real estate, including purchase & sale agreements, construction agreements, joint ventures, acquisition of real estate companies, bond issuances for real estate projects, financing agreements and debt arrangements.

Hagit provides legal advice for complex and large scale transactions and routine legal assistance to construction projects (including complex projects such as shopping malls).


Hagit joined the firm in 1987 and became a partner in 1995.


Hagit is fluent in English and Hebrew.


Hagit was admitted to the Israel Bar in 1984.


Hagit graduated with a law degree from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem in 1982. In addition, she received a B.Des from the Bezalel Academy of Art & Design in 1986 and an M.B.A from Tel Aviv University in 1995.

  • Israel Chapter in The Virtual Currency Regulation Review

    Earlier this year, the Israel Tax Authority (ITA) issued two circulars, one on the taxation of digital tokens and the second addressing the taxation of utility tokens in initial coin offerings (ICOs). Additionally, in March, the Israel Securities Authority (ISA) released a detailed interim report by the Committee for the Regulation of Public Offerings of Decentralized Cryptocurrency Coins (Report) (with a follow-up report due to come out around October 2018). Moreover, it is expected that before the end of 2018, legislation will come into force that for the first time will see Israeli primary legislation define virtual currencies as financial assets and mandate licensing for related services, as is later discussed in detail.
