Position
Paul is Managing Director and specialises in employment and constitutional law and occupational health and safety. Paul has special interest and experience in the conduct of investigations, enquiries and inquests in occupational health and safety matters, particularly in the mining industry and in employment related tax issues. He also advises on restraint of trade agreements and unlawful competition and leads the firm?s employment team in due diligence projects. Paul formulates and develops employment contracts, personnel policies and procedures and advises on the implementation of employment equity. He specialises in the resolution of labour disputes such as unfair discrimination, dismissals and unfair labour practices. He advises in collective bargaining and strike management, restructuring, outsourcing and re-organisation of the workplace, employment issues in mergers and acquisitions and the interpretation and application of employment statutes and labour law generally.
