Position

Partner specialising in mergers and acquisitions, company restructuring, public trading in securities and capital markets, involving both Polish and foreign entities. Robert has advised numerous firms and capital groups on capital transactions, M&A transactions, and on the trade in receivables and debt securities. He is an expert on company law, including the functioning of authorities and liablity of management boards and supervisory boards in commercial companies. Robert advises on the public trading in securities and receivables, and on corporate matters, including corporate disputes. He has also advised numerous start-up business in Poland, including brokerage houses on regulations, standard agreements and day-to-day legal issues.

He joined DZP in 2002.

In a prestigious transaction for the Polish energy sector, Marek Świątkowski advised Grupa Lotos on all aspects of its €10bn merger with PKN Orlen. Bartosz Marcinkowski and department head Krzysztof Zakrzewski advised Infracapital on a €300m joint venture with Nokia, which will contribute to the development of Polish fibre-optic infrastructure. Robert Niczyporuk is another key figure.
