Ellex is defending businessman Hillar Teder in connection with allegations of bribery and the illegal financing of the Estonian Centre Party. Anton Sigal, who joined the practice following its merger with Primus, Attorneys at Law's Estonian office, led the team acting for Elering in two precedent-setting subsidy disputes relating to hydroelectric power. Arne Ots is the head of the practice, which is noted for its 'quality and expertise'. Other key clients include Telia, Swedbank and Eesti Energia. The 'very skilled' Toomas Vaher, and senior associate Martin-Johannes Raude are also recommended.

Ellex is advising the Republic of Estonia on the Rail Baltica project, particularly on issues pertaining to spatial planning and the route of the project.
