Career

Tom is an Industrial Relations expert and is well known in the market for his expertise in helping companies navigate the complexities of doing business in a unionised environment. More generally, Tom advises clients on the full range of contentious and non-contentious issues arising from the employment relationship, from strategic advice on board level engagements and terminations, through the management of international outsourcing projects, to the complexities of managing workplace change, including in a trade union context.  He has particular interest in UK employment law, compliance and issues affecting gig - economy businesses, and over 15 years experience in advising businesses at the highest level in both the UK and overseas.

Ed Stacey leads the group at PwC LLP, which has 'consistently recruited top talent into the department' and recently gained Tom Ince from Reed Smith LLP.
