Agnes is a Partner and Head of PwC’s Regulatory and Commercial Disputes team.

Career

Agnes is a Partner and the Head of PwC's Regulatory and Commercial Disputes team. Agnes has over 20 years’ experience leading large, complex investigations involving fraud, corruption, sanctions, asset tracing and asset recovery issues spanning a multiplicity of jurisdictions. She also advises clients on business ethics, governance, risk and compliance issues and policies. Her work regularly includes liaising with government as well as prosecuting and regulatory authorities on behalf of her clients.

Agnes and her team work with clients across a range of sectors including engineering and construction, oil and gas, financial services and pharmaceuticals. As part of this Agnes has worked and continues to work closely with PwC Legal specialists in other jurisdictions such as Europe, the CEE and the Middle East.

Main areas of expertise: anti-bribery and corruption; fraud detection and prevention; sanctions and export controls; advising on compliance with financial crime legislation and policies and procedures; investigations; liaising with regulators; acting for clients in disputes with regulators and prosecuting authorities; compliance and risk management; and dispute resolution.

Agnes is also a leading authority on legal professional privilege having acted for the applicant in one of the UK’s foremost cases on the subject in recent years, which was heard before the Supreme Court in November 2012.
