The firm

Hajji & Associés is an independent Moroccan law firm which was developed in 1996 by Amin Hajji with a high-level expertise in international business law.

Specifically, the activities of the firm cover areas of international finance, company restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, energy and infrastructure, market entry plans, information technology law, commercial litigation and international arbitration.

The firm has recently implemented modern management methods. It is composed of a team of lawyers having academic backgrounds, where some of the legal experts have doctoral studies in law with an in-depth knowledge of three languages, including English.

Moreover, Hajji & Associés has obtained the Gold Prize of ‘Best Law Firm in North Africa: Morocco’ in two consecutive years for 2015 and 2016. These prizes are granted by Leaders League and by the French magazine ‘Décideurs’.

Areas of practice

Hajji & Associés has been involved in some of the most important finance project deals in the energy and infrastructure sectors, including the financing of major maritime port projects such as TMSA in Tangiers, the Jorf Lasfar 5 and 6 power thermic plant financing and more recently, the 510 MW Ouarzazate CSP project as well as the acquisition and financing of a 120 MW wind farm.

Such projects also consist of assisting clients on a day-to-day basis especially with regards to the incorporation of various companies, including all the legal formalities arising from it, along with all the related corporate matters.

Another area that the firm thrives in is litigation and arbitration matters, where it is called upon to act before local courts as well as before national and international arbitration courts on behalf of its clients.

Moreover, another area of expertise that distinguishes Hajji & Associés from other law firms is aviation law, where it has continuously provided legal services to distinguished aviation companies.
