Position

Keith is a member of the Global Real Estate Group, based in London, and his recent experience includes: * Represented a French specialty chemicals group in connection with its acquisition of a UK chemicals company with operations and facilities in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, China and India. Subsequently advising in connection with the restructuring of the newly merged operations. * Represented an international steel making group on its proposed US$ 200 million acquisition of a mining and steel-making company in Peru and Columbia. * Represented an investor on the acquisition of a privatised refractory product manufacturing company and facility in Serbia. * Represented an international mining company on the acquisition of a Brazilian iron ore mining company and the grant of a concession for the operation of port facilities. * Represented an international mining company on the proposed acquisition of a private mining company in Armenia. * Represented numerous international investors on investment projects in Vietnam, including various restructurings, and in respect of joint ventures for hotels, serviced apartments, office and retail premises. * Represented the sponsor consortium in respect of a 1020 MW independent power project in Nigeria on an ROT basis.

  • Changes in the Waste Management System

    The amendments adopted by the Parliament on July 1, 2011 to the Municipal Cleanliness and Tidiness Act bring revolutionary changes to the Polish waste management system. The Act is currently awaiting signing by the President. Once approved, the changes will become effective 12 months from the date the Act is published.
