Career
Christoph studied Law at the Universities of Tübingen, Leiden (the Netherlands) and Speyer. He earned his doctorate from the Law Faculty of the University of Tübingen and had already worked for several years in a law firm in Stuttgart specialising in construction, planning and environmental law before joining the Cologne office of avocado rechtsanwälte in 2002. The focus of his practice consists of providing legal advice to enterprises on all issues of environmental law, in particular pollution control and nature conservation as well as waste management law. In addition, he has gained considerable experience in the areas of fees and revenue law as well as public procurement and anti-trust law. Besides working as a lawyer, Christoph regularly makes appearances as a speaker at seminars for various educational institutions and at symposiums. Further, in his numerous professional publications he has dealt with pertinent issues of German and European environmental law.
