Position

Partner in the regulatory department at Ford & Warren Solicitors. His main area of practice is goods and passenger transport operations. Gary has extensive experience in all aspects of operators licensing and other regulatory matters and makes regular appearances before the Traffic Commissioner at the Transport Tribunal. Gary has defence expertise before Magistrates Courts and Crown Courts throughout England and Wales on a full range of road traffic matters. His experience in transport-related health and safety prosecutions includes prosecutions of the utmost seriousness. Gary has made regular appearances before the Coroner’s Court following fatal road traffic and transport-related accidents. He has wide experience and particular specialisation in prosecutions arising from drivers’ hours, records offences and construction use offences. Gary is a recommended solicitor for the Road Haulage Association and the Freight Transport Association. He is a retained solicitor for many national and international transport logistic operators on regulatory transport matters. Gary also heads a team providing consultancy services on internal systems for monitoring safety and quality. He regularly lectures to trade association on transport-related matters and is a regular contributor to the trade press generally.
