Position
Partner and head of the employment law department, Peter has wide-ranging experience in both the private and public sectors. He has dealt extensively with all aspects of employment legislation to include drafting and advising on contracts of employment, policies and procedures, and compromise agreements; advising on internal disciplinary and grievance matters; and dealing with defending Employment Tribunal proceedings of every kind, from completing documents through to tribunal representation. He advises companies in all sectors, including social housing, manufacturing, retail (food and non-food) and service industries. Peter has dealt with schemes of redundancies, many discrimination cases and numerous equal pay claims. He has also provided seminars and training to meet the needs of his clients. His client base includes premiership football clubs and significant high-profile leisure outlets. Clients also include a significant number of large public sector employers, some within excess of 10,000 employees, as well as smaller owner-managed businesses.
