Position
Mike specialises in complex clinical negligence and brain injury work for claimants. He is a very experienced inquest advocate and has experience of GMC representation. Work highlights include settlement of one of the largest birth injury claims to date at £6.25m, including a stepped periodical payments plan not only for care and case management, but also for earnings and other losses. In 2003 Mike was appointed assistant deputy coroner for Derbyshire, a position he retains to date. He is on the referral panel for Action against Medical Accidents (AvMA) and is an LSC committee member.
