Position
Gareth specialises in providing planning advice and assistance in development and regeneration schemes, as well as advice on the way to approach local authorities to secure the best outcome for applications or enforcement situations. He has vast experience in the negotiation and settling of planning and highway agreements. Gareth’s current portfolio extends over a wide range of matters from Judicial Reviews to Definitive Map Reviews, as well as the broad range of advice on applications, Section 106 agreements and enforcement matters. Prior to joining Foot Anstey, Gareth worked within local government providing advice on planning and regeneration matters for over 20 years. The knowledge and know-how accumulated during this period proves to be of great assistance to clients in their dealings with local authorities as the advice extends into the wider considerations of discussing matters with local authorities, rather than pure planning issues.
