Position

Chris has worked on major projects in ?London and Hong Kong, advising clients on procurement ?strategy, building and engineering contracts and framework arrangements, professional appointments, collateral warranties ?and construction finance documents. He has particular ?experience of construction procurement by way of PPP/PFI arrangements and significant expertise in all forms of construction dispute resolution, including arbitration and adjudication. He has recently worked on a large landmark mixed use regeneration scheme in Plymouth, as well as the development of a major research and teaching facility to be constructed at one of the South West’s main regional hospitals.

Trained at Allen & Overy; qualified 1992 (England and Wales), 1995 (Hong Kong). Assistant solicitor, Allen & Overy, London 1992-94, Hong Kong 1994-97; assistant solicitor Shadbolt LLP 1997-99; partner Shadbolt LLP 1999-2008; partner Foot Anstey 2009 to date.
