Career

Jan joined Lexence in 2001. Before that he worked as a company lawyer with, among others Strukton Groep, Hollandse Beton Groep and Fokker. Jan is Fellow at the Amsterdam School of Real Estate and teacher at the NEPROM (the association of Dutch property development companies). He is co-author of the manual on property development issued by the NEPROM. As editor property development he is a member of the editorial staff of ‘Real Estate Contracts', the publication of model contracts published by ‘Den Hollander publishing house'. He specializes in development law (project and area development) area- and property development law, construction law, real estate, public private partnerships PPS-structures and tendering law. He has vast knowledge of the many contracts in this field.

Education

Jan obtained his Master's degree in Dutch law from the Universiteit Leiden and was admitted to the Bar in 2001.
