Setterwalls acts for three of the Nordic region’s largest construction companies – NCC, Peab and Skanska - and also assists clients based elsewhere in Europe. The team recently acted for Per Aarsleff as the contractor on the €130m redevelopment of VĂ€rtahamnen harbour. Gothenburg-based Anders Heintze, who heads the department, has expertise in construction litigation and arbitration. Erik Palmgren and senior associate Henric Namander are also based in Gothenburg. Lennart Iwar manages the construction team in Malmö. Hans Dahlberg Kolga is based in Stockholm.

Real estate

Setterwalls’ work includes site acquisitions and development projects; clients in this space include NCC, Skandia Fastigheter, Skanska and Strabag. Anders Linnerborg, Linda Jönsjö and others recently advised Riksbyggeb on its acquisition of the land registered as Abborren 2 from Malmö Stenhus for the purpose of transforming it into a promenade. Anders Heintze, Lennart Iwar and Jessica Schönning lead teams in Gothenburg, Malmö and Stockholm respectively. Patric Olofsson was a new arrival from MAQS AdvokatbyrĂ„ in 2019.
