Delphi is advising OK-Q8 AB on the formation of a new Scandinavian group through OKQ8 AB’S acquisition of shares in Q8 Danmark A/S from Kuwait Petroleum Europe BV. Kromann Reumert in Copenhagen advised on the legal due diligence in Denmark.

The Rollco group also has operations in the other Nordic countries and in Taiwan.

The TNS Sifo Prospera’s survey of buyers of legal services, gave Delphi top marks. Delphi is ranked as the best firm for business acumen, problem solving and innovative abilities, understanding the client’s needs and follow-up. Overall, Delphi is ranked as third best law firm in Sweden.

Perusa Partners Fund I LP has through its subsidiary Area Clearance Services Sweden AB acquired Dynasafe International AB and subsidiaries.

Delphi has been named by Global Law Experts (GLE) as 2011 Swedish Banking Law Firm of the Year. The award is based on references from clients, the legal matters handled by Delphi during the year, rankings, publications, contribution to seminars, the firm’s reputation and how individual lawyers in the team have performed. Clas Romander was the individual lawyer who received most votes in banking and finance in Sweden.

Panduro Hobby has acquired a majority stake in the Dutch company Pipoos which company is equivalent to the Swedish company Panduro Hobby and market leading in Holland and Belgium.

The house was full at Delphi Lawfirm when they, together with AmCham, invited to a lecture with Professor Christian Johnson, University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law. Professor Johnson made a presentation about the Federal Reserve’s role during the global financial crisis.

Delphi’s response to the European Commission’s Green Paper on the modernization of EU public procurement policy

Delphi has submitted a response to the European Commission’s consultation on the modernization of EU public procurement policy – towards amore efficient European Procurement Market.

The main points of Delphi’s response are as follows.

Delphi has together with KPMG Forensic, in association with students from Stockholm University and Stockholm School of Economics, conducted a study regarding codes of conduct in the Swedish business sector. Delphi has advised Interoute Communications Ltd, owner and operator of Europe’s largest next-generation network, in their acquisition of Visual Conference Group (VCG), the leading provider of managed telepresence services in Scandinavia. Visual Conference Group, named Videokonferensbolaget in Sweden, delivers video conferencing to companies and organizations in over fifty countries.

Delphi's life sciences practice is ranked as Highly recommended by PLC Which Lawyer? . This year PLC Which Lawyer? included ten Swedish law firms in its evaluation of firms with expertise in the life sciences field. Delphi's life sciences practice is ranked among the three most highly regarded in Sweden.

The purpose is to reduce administrative burden, compliance cost and uncertainties for
companies with presence in more than two member states. According to the analysis
made by the EU-commission the expected saving to corporations affected by this

As of 1 August 2010, two new pieces of legislation governing payment services came into force; the Payment Services Act (Sw. Lag (2010:751) om betaltjänster) and the Act on Unauthorised Transactions with Payment Instruments (Sw. Lag (2010:738) om obehöriga transaktioner med betalningsinstrument).

The Delphi Göteborg office has appointed Erik Kjaer and Johan Lövbrand Nilsson as partners from 1 January 2011. Erik's work is mainly in real estate and construction as well as in dispute resolution. Johan works mainly within corporate law, mergers and acquisitions.

Delphi assisted the Swedish based company Lindgens Metal Decorating Coatings & Inks when AkzoNobel acquired worldwide assets in several countries, including a majority stake in the joint venture company Server Boya in Turkey.

Delphi assisted Sydsvensk Entreprenörfond and others in connection with an investment in the medical device company Metpro Ronneby AB during the summer.

Mergermarket has published the League Tables of Legal Advisors to M&A, for the first half of 2010. In Sweden Delphi is one of the most active advisors, measured by volume, and is ranked as number seven in the league table.

Addtech Industrial Solutions acquires BEVI International AB. The deal was closed July 1 2010. David Aversten, responsible partner, Michael Juhlin and Rickard Samuelsson, from Delphi advises Addtech in the transaction.

Delphi's rankings in Legal 500 have improved within several practice areas since last year. Soft Capital Investment AB is the owner of Soft Capital Holding Ltd in Malta, whose subsidiaries operate bingo and other games on the Internet. The Soft Capital Group shall on certain chosen markets in Europe offer niche sites focusing on bingo and other games in a modern, entertaining and innovative manner.

Partner Cheddi Liljeström appears in the Guide to the World's Leading Aviation Lawyers for his work in aviation law, mainly in the aircraft financing and travel industry. Delphi’s rankings in the PLC Which Lawyer guide has improved this year and has placed Delphi as number four on the list over recommended firms in Sweden.

The leading Swedish business magazine Affärsvärlden has presented its annual survey on the bigger business law firms' client satisfaction. The result of the survey appoints Law Firm of the Year.

Delphi has acted as legal advisor to Morgan Stanley Private Equity SSY Holdings AB in the sale of a 69,9 per cent equity stake in Ssangyong Corp – a Seoul based domestic and international wholesaler – to GS Holdings Corp. The purchase price was KRW 120,000,000,000 or approximately SEK 720,000,000.

The international magazine World Finance has nominated Delphi's Tax Team for Best Tax Team 2010. The Swedish tax teams are nominated.

The international business journal ACQ has ranked corporate transaction advisors globally. The ranking primarily covers law firms, banks and audit firms.

The journal, Legala Affärer has carried out its annual survey amongst associates at the larger law firms. For the fourth consecutive year, Delphi finds itself in the number one spot.

Anna Ulfsdotter Forssell, partner and head of Delphi's public procurement group, has been ranked as one of the world's top ten lawyers by Who's Who Legal Public Procurement 2009. Anna Ulfsdotter Forssell is the only Swedish lawyer on the prestigious list of the world's most highly respected individuals within the field of public procurement.

Delphi has assisted Ignis ASA, listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange, in the acquisition of Syntune AB, a leading international provider of tunable laser products and technology based in Sweden. The acquisition will widen the Ignis product range to include active components, and together with the existing passive components portfolio Ignis will provide a broader optical offering to network operators following the acquisition. As part of the transaction, Syntune AB has secured an additional loan facility of EUR 2.3 million from Kreos Capital.

Chambers Europe 2009 rankings place Delphi in considerably better positions. Competition/European Law, Employment, Life Science, Private Equity and Tax are all competence areas that are ranked for the first time. Intellectual Property and Corporate/M&A have got higher ranking.

Delphi has assisted SBS Radio AB and SBS Broadcasting in the acquisition of Stampen group Radio business. SBS Radio, who among other things broadcasts Mix Megapol and converts thereby the Stampen Groups own and controlled radio stations to the Mix Megapol format.

The Swedish Tax Authority and the SPAR Committee and Bisnodes subsidiary Infodata has agreed on a transitional contract with the Swedish Tax Agency regarding the management of SPAR ( the National Register on Individuals and Addresses).

18/12/2008 - Compre Holdings Limited, London, has acquired all shares in Wasa International Försäkringsaktiebolag and Återförsäkringsaktiebolaget Stockholm from Wasa Försäkring Run-Off AB, a company within the LF group. The acquisition is dependant upon approval by the Swedish Financial Supervision Authority. The purchase price is not official.

ProSiebenSat 1 Media AG is a European media conglomerate, with commercial television, radio stations et cetera. ProSiebenSat has sold the subtitling company BTI to the venture capital fund Valedo. BTI has got offices in eight countries, a turnover of 149 million SEK 2007 and approximately 110 employees.
