Dutch law firm AKD assisted shareholders of KP&T in sale of majority shares in KP&T to Mentha Capita

Amsterdam, 19 June 2012 – Dutch law firm AKD successfully assisted the shareholders of KP&T, a recruitment agency, in the sale of 73.4% of the shares in KP&T to Mentha Capital Fund III Management B.V.. Mentha Capital will continue with present management of KP&T.

KP&T  focuses on recruitment in technical fields such as  construction, civil engineering and information technology. KP&T employs over 300 employees and has shown strong growth in recent years. The management team intends to  continue the present growth path in the coming years.

KP&T is founded in 1998, has headquarters in the southern town of Weert and offices  in four other cities including Amsterdam.

Mentha Capital is an independent private equity firm founded in 2006. Mentha Capital was recently rewarded the ACQ Global Award 2011 for best "Benelux Small Cap House".  Since Mentha's inception shareholdings in 11 companies have been realised, among others kleertjes.com, Axon en PBG.

The AKD team that assisted the shareholders of KP&T in the sale of KP&T was led by Nathalie van Woerkom, and consisted of Angelique Martens, Francois Koppenol, Selma Baouch and Rosanne Vlasveld.
