AKD advises Bruynzeel

May 2012

AKD advises Bruynzeel during arrangement of credit facility from consortium headed by ABN AMRO Bank N.V. and ING Bank N.V.

The Banking & Finance practice group assisted Bruynzeel Holding B.V. and its subsidiaries (including Bruynzeel Keukens B.V. and Keller Keukens B.V.) during the arrangement of a credit facility with a value of EUR 28.5 million. The Bruynzeel Keuken Groep is market leader in the Dutch and Belgian kitchen market, and with its subsidiary Keller Keukens it also has a significant position in the German market.

The credit facility was provided by a consortium headed by ABN AMRO Bank N.V. and ING Bank N.V. in the form of a standby facility which can be used to finance the operations of Bruynzeel throughout Europe. The services of AKD included amongst others the negotiation of terms and the drawing up of a comprehensive package of financing and security documentation based on the documentation recommended by the Loan Market Association. The banks were assisted by Stek Advocaten in Amsterdam.

The AKD team that advised Bruynzeel consisted of Vincent Bettonville, Jasper Verhoog en Merijn Batteram Bruynzeel geadviseerd.
