AKD advised ANWB Reizen Beheer B.V. in its acquisition of Cruise Travel Nederland B.V.
On 28 November 2011, ANWB Reizen Beheer B.V. entered into an agreement with Obar B.V. to purchase all the shares in Cruise Travel Nederland B.V.
Cruise Travel Nederland B.V. operates a company that mediates in the sale of tourist travel, specifically cruises. Cruise Travel Nederland B.V. is an agent for several international shipping companies that organize and carry out cruises. ANWB Reizen is part of the ANWB group, which is active in various fields; from providing assistance to travellers, insurances to providing tourist travel.
The AKD team that assisted ANWB Reizen in this acquisition process consisted of Nathalie van Woerkom and Selma Baouch. AKD earlier assisted ANWB Reizen in its acquisition of Travelhome.
