Ivor is a Partner in the Corporate Department and head of William Fry’s London office. He has significant transactional expertise in private equity, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and shareholder structuring matters, corporate reorganisations and venture capital/debt. Ivor has particular experience in advising technology and infrastructure clients.

Career

Recent deals include advising:

  • Future Finance Loan Corporation Limited on its various fundraising activities including its Series B equity and lending capital investment for in aggregate €150m from investors including QED Investors, Colchis Capital, DW Partners, Fenway Summer Ventures and Blackstone Strategic Opportunity Fund and others
  • Sodexo Group on the purchase of Comfort Keepers Homecare franchise in Ireland through the acquisition of Elder Home Care Limited and Home Care Training Limited
  • The sellers, including the Founders and Saudi Pharmaceutical Industries and Medical Applicances Corporation (Spimaco-Addwaeih), on the sale of EirGen Pharma Limited for $135m
  • The sellers, including Royal Bank of Scotland, Mount Kellet Capital and OIF, on the sale of Jurys Inn to Lonestar for €900m
  • The sellers on the sale of Firstway Digital Limited to j2 Global, Inc.
  • The Irish Infrastructure Fund (managed by AMP Capital) on the purchase of Towercom Limited, Ireland’s largest independent wireless telecoms infrastructure company

Two years later a new law was issued by the National Assembly containing more than 80 amendments, additions and repeals (Law No 891) which came into force December 18th, 2014.
