Andrew Jackson recruits new head of construction
Hull based real estate specialists Andrew Jackson announce the recruitment of Martin Collingwood as head of construction law.
Martin - who joins from law firm Dundas & Wilson in Glasgow - brings a wealth of experience to his role at Andrew Jackson, having worked as a construction lawyer for over 25 years, both in private practice and industry.
Having undertaken both non-contentious and contentious work, Martin's expertise covers a broad range of construction matters including adjudication, litigation (high court and county court) and mediation, through to advising on and drafting a wide variety of contracts and commercial agreements.
A member of the Society of Construction Law and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, Martin has worked on a number of significant projects including Canary Wharf, Heathrow Express Way and the Channel Tunnel.
In his role at Andrew Jackson, Martin will be responsible for advising clients on a variety of construction law issues, ranging from pure construction projects to large scale complex development projects, where construction law issues form an integral part of the firm's wider brief.
