Career
Daniel Proença de Carvalho served public office until 1968, when he engaged in advocacy. He became chairman of Uría Menéndez - Proença de Carvalho in March 2010 following the merger of the law firms Proença de Carvalho & Associados and Uría Menéndez. He has worked in all areas of legal practices, including litigious and non-litigious matters. He has been involved in many types of arbitration proceedings, both as lawyer and arbitrator. Daniel is highly experienced in economic, commercial and M&A matters, advising both national and foreign companies.
