Partner. Jan Vablum is Head of Shipping & Offshore in Bergen and has extensive experience with shipping related transactions, financing, restructuring and general corporate/M&A. He assists several Norwegian and international shipowners and shipyards with sale and purchase of vessels, structuring/restructuring, litigation and construction contracts. On a regular basis, Jan Vablum assists in establishing and organising maritime entities. In his capacity as advisor to the Freighter’s Association, he frequently advises in regulatory issues, bargaining agreements, etc.

In a recent highlight, Christian Bjørtuft Ellingsen advised Yara Norge on the development of an autonomous cargo solution system including the world's first autonomous vessel.
