At a ceremony recently held in Seoul in the context of the IBA Arbitration Day, Lenz & Staehelin was once again confirmed as one of the world's busiest arbitration practices by Global Arbitration Review, a leading publication in that field.

Who’s Who Legal, official research partner of the International Bar Association (IBA) and strategic research partner of the ABA Section of International Law, has selected Lenz & Staehelin as the leading firm in Switzerland in its annual awards for the sixth consecutive time.

According to the independent magazine "World Trademark Review", Lenz & Staehelin is one of the leading trademark practices in the world.

The annual award is presented by UK legal publisher Chambers and Partners at a formal ceremony, this year held on 20 May 2010 at the Grosvenor Hourse Hotel in London. It is recognition of the outstanding work of our attorneys and their teams in our various practices.

On Tuesday, 18 May 2010, the International Tax Review (ITR) named Lenz & Staehelin “Switzerland Tax Firm of the Year 2010”. ITR has been running the European Awards program since 2006. The award ceremony was held in London and the program recognizes national tax and transfer pricing awards, covering 25 European jurisdictions. Lenz & Staehelin won the prestigious national tax award for the second time after 2006.

The International Financial Law Review (IFLR) recently announced the nominations for its 2010 Asia, Europe and Americas Awards. On 18 March 2010, Lenz & Staehelin, together with other firms advising on the deal, won the "M&A Deal of the Year" award at the IFLR Europe Awards ceremony in London. The firm was honored for its representation of PartnerRe, a leading global reinsurer, on its approximately USD 2 billion acquisition of PARIS RE, a Swiss reinsurer.
