New partners at GRETTE

January 2011

We are delighted to announce that two new outstanding lawyers have become partners at GRETTE effective January 1, 2011

 

Inga Kaasen
Inga joined Grette in 2005 and was promoted senior attorney in 2008. She has considerable  experience from patent litigation and also specializes in life sciences law; contracts, especially in the area of research cooperation, licensing and the production of pharmaceuticals; marketing and requlatory matters. She also has working experience as a researcher in molecular genetics and microbiology at the University of Troms and at Alpharma. In addition to her legal background, she has a Ph.D. degree  in genetics and heads Grette’s Biotech, food and health law group.

Karl Rosén
Karl is especially known for his work in the area of finance law, derivates contracts and regulatory matters in the finance industry. He joins Grette coming from DnB NOR’s corporate legal group. His previous working experience includes, i.a.,  being  an advisor in  the Legislative affairs department of the Ministry of Justice and in the financial markets department in the Ministry of Finance, and as an attorney in the finance group at BA-HR.

  • Proposed ban on personal import of medicinal products ordered via Internet

    The Ministry of Health and Care has recently issued a hearing letter proposing stringent restrictions on import of medicinal products for personal use. Among the actions proposed, is a general ban on the import of prescription drugs, and access for Customs to seize and destroy falsified or illegal medicinal products.
