Eversheds increases international reach with unique Baltic association
International law firm Eversheds has announced its association with a network of three leading law firms in the Baltic region. The affiliation agreement with Saladžius & Partners in Lithuania, Ots & Co in Estonia and Baltmane & Bitans in Latvia is another step in the continuing development of Eversheds' international capability.
The three law firms have a long-standing association, having worked together for clients across the Baltic region for ten years. Eversheds already has experience of working with the firms on a number of projects for clients with an interest in the region and the new formal agreement builds on this successful working relationship.
Commenting on the new agreement Alan Jenkins, chairman of Eversheds, said:

The three firms, which make up the Baltic legal network, have established reputations as full service business law firms with specialist expertise in a range of areas, including M&A, company reorganisation, competition law, employment law, real estate and litigation and intellectual property. The firms' expertise also spans a wide range of industries and sectors, including financial services, energy, construction and real estate.
The network has 11 partners and 37 fee-earners in total and there are plans in place to grow the team further. Working with a number of major corporates, the majority of the network's turnover is generated by foreign corporations. With a client base of more than 1000 businesses, the firms are currently working for Berlin Chemie Menarini Group, Oracle, Siemens, Volvo and Solvay Pharma. The association will significantly increase the legal resources available to clients of both firms.
