Partner in the Noerr's Commerce & Trade Practice Group, Rechtsanwalt (Munich), Co-head of our International Trade Group. Drafting international agreements and court representation in trade and distribution law and logistics (Global Purchasing, Global Supply, Distribution, Franchising and Commercial Agency, Supply Chain Advice) are among his specialities. As an expert for foreign investment, with his team he has advised more than 600 prominent German and foreign companies including listed companies. He lectures on many international trade law and logistics subjects.

Examples of recent transactions include advising well-known companies on the establishment of their Germany-wide franchise systems; providing advice to a major Austrian pharmaceuticals company on implementing restructuring/establishing its subsidiary in Ukraine and on all Ukrainian law issues, in particular company, employment, customs and competition law; counselling a German textiles manufacturer on disputes in connection with a joint venture in Ukraine and investment guarantees.



Has worked internationally as a lawyer for more than 18 years; assistant lecturer in securities law at the University of Saarland and in international contract law at the Saarland University of Applied Sciences; chief in-house counsel of an asset management company; with Noerr since 2001.

Noerr stands out for providing comprehensive advice on questions of German and international transport, forwarding and warehouse logistics law, as well as for its transport insurance and liability law expertise. A highlight was assisting a German sports bike manufacturer: Mansur Pour Rafsendjani and associate Maximilian Kummer were responsible for drafting a framework contract for the multimodal transport of bicycles, as well as a warehouse logistics contract for Germany and for a US warehouse. The group also drafted a master contract for the award of worldwide transport contracts for a pharmaceutical company and represented an internationally active trading company in claims for damages resulting from the Hanjin insolvency.
