The ‘very strong and pragmatic’ team at Noerr is praised for its ‘deep economic understanding’ and its ‘extremely competent lawyers’, who ‘find very good and workable solutions even in the most difficult situations’. The practice acts for clients across various industries including aviation, automotive, logistics, e-commerce and retail as well as finance and insurance, and successfully represented Air Berlin before the labour court in Berlin and Hamburg in collective bargaining-related proceedings. Team head Andreas Butz assisted a well known German food company with restructuring matters including redundancy, collective bargaining and industrial constitution law matters as well as on co-determination structures. In other work, Stefan Schwab assisted service provider ISS Facility Services with employment law issues concerning the conclusion of a contract package with Deutsche Telekom outlining the client’s provision of facility services to the latter company, due to start in 2019. Hans-Christoph Schimmelpfennig and Nicole Heider are also noted; both demonstrate ‘a very high level of expertise’ and are ‘experienced in airline business-related matters’.
