Plesner named "Law Firm of the Year 2012" by IFLR 1000

September 2012

Once again Plesner has been named "Law Firm of the Year" in Denmark by International Financial Law Review 1000 (IFLR), one of the most well-reputed law firm rating publications. Plesner also received this acknowledgement in 2007, 2010 and 2011.

The award ceremony took place in London on 22 March 2012.

A Testimony of Plesner's Position

Based on interviews with lawyers at financial institutions and corporates as well as lawyers in other firms, IFLR analyses and evaluates the performances and positions of law firms within the areas of Banking and Financing, Mergers and Acquisitions and Restructuring and Insolvency. The award is therefore a testimony of Plesner's strong position within these important fields of law.

Nicolai Ørsted, Managing Partner, says:

"It is an honour to be named Law Firm of the Year for the third consecutive year - and for the fourth time in all. We have excellent and highly competent competitors. We are therefore particularly proud to receive this recognition again, and we are grateful to our clients for having entrusted us with the assignments."

In its Motivation IFLR writes:

"Plesner was awarded for its contribution to the most complex and innovative international transactions in Denmark in 2011."
