Position

Mikkel Vittrup is a partner in the IP and Life Science practice area, providing advice on intellectual property law and focusing particularly on the enforcement of intellectual property rights (patents, trademarks and design rights etc) through legal proceedings, including preliminary injunctions and the preservation of evidence.

Mikkel is also head of the regulatory Life Science group and provides advice to a large number of clients on all regulatory issues regarding medicinal products, medical equipment, foodstuffs, dietary supplements etc, including conducting legal proceedings against public authorities.

In addition, Mikkel advises on all types of agreements within the area of IP and Life Science such as licence agreements, research and development agreements, clinical trial agreements, material transfer agreements etc.

Plesner handles matters across all aspects of IP with particular strength in life sciences patent litigation. Team leader Mikkel Vittrup and Peter-Ulrik Plesner recently acted for a global pharmaceutical company in a patent infringement claim; patent and trade mark litigator Sture Rygaard  handled a European patent ownership dispute; and Kasper Frahm advised on a high profile trade mark dispute. Also noted is Jeppe Brinck-Jensen, who specialises in patent and parallel import issues; he represented Merck in a case relating to the parallel distribution of medicinal products.
