Plesner fields 'a deep bench of good competition lawyers', with 'plenty of experience' under the joint leadership of litigator Christian Karhula Lauridsen and Gitte Holtsø, who is 'very practical, highly skilled and always available'. Recent highlights include Lauridsen advising Ørsted on its involvement in two cases brought by the Danish Competition Council and the Competition Appeals Tribunal involving claims of excessive pricing in the Western Denmark electricity market by Elsam, Holtsø advising EY Denmark on the competition elements of its merger with KPMG Denmark, and Daniel Barry assisting Marlin Equity Partners with the competition elements of its divestment of Bluegarden to Visma. GlaxoSmithKline, British American Tobacco and Dankse Bank are also clients. Rie Paving Mortensen was promoted to the partnership in 2018.
