Henk Verstraete is part of the Liedekerke's Tax group. He focuses on Belgian and international tax advisory, transactional and litigation work. This includes assisting clients in the corporate and financial sectors on a wide range of tax matters, including international tax planning and corporate reorganisations.
Henk Verstraete joined Liedekerke Wolters Waelbroeck Kirkpatrick as a Partner in 2008. He also teaches at the University of Leuven (KU Leuven 1999), is a visiting professor at the European Tax College (Tilburg University) and is a professor at the Fiscale Hogeschool Brussel (FHS). He is frequently invited as a speaker and regularly publishes on tax-related topics.

After graduating in law from the University of Leuven (KU Leuven), Henk Verstraete obtained a LL.M. in taxation at the New York University School of Law in 2003, on a Fulbright Scholarship and a Fellowship from the Belgian American Educational Foundation. He also studied at the Law School of the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA.
