Work Department

Corporate and foundation/trust law, Energy law, Litigation and arbitration, Mergers and acquisitions.

Position

Partner. Heads Kromann Reumert's Energy Law Group.

Career

Anders has advised energy businesses since 1993. Over the last 20 years, businesses in the power and natural gas supply industries in particular have experienced dramatic changes to their governing conditions. Anders has taken a central role in the resulting development that these businesses have undergone, both in terms of ownership and corporate structure, and also in terms of operations. Anders has been involved in practically every major transaction over the past ten years in the Danish energy sector, as well as many of the high-profile and noteworthy legal actions brought before the competent public authorities. He has also been involved in a number of central legislative initiatives – most recently in connection with the implementation of the third liberalisation directive and the introduction of the wholesale model in the Danish Electricity Supply Act. Anders has assisted in the structuring of Danish pension fund investments (as direct co-owners) in the Danish Nysted offshore wind farm and Anholt offshore wind farm, and the German Borkum Riffgrund I offshore wind farm. The Nysted and Anholt offshore wind farm transactions are the first in Europe to feature pension funds investing in wind farms as direct co-owners.
