Position
Managing Partner Practice Areas: National / international commercial and corporate law; M&A and joint ventures; International private law; Restructuring and reorganization of companies; National / international arbitration; Norbert Knüppel joined Marccus Partners in 2009 as managing partner for Germany. He has more than 20 years of experience with M&A transactions, many of which being cross-border transactions. He advises privately held companies as well as listed stock corporations in particular in the electrical, logistics, and construction industry. Norbert Knüppel has also gained extensive experience in restructuring and reorganization of companies. Over more than ten years, he advised in restructuring projects as project manager, trustee or moderator of complex banking pools. Besides his focus on corporate and restructuring matters, Norbert Knüppel is a recognized expert on complex litigations and international arbitration proceedings. He represented numerous clients before arbitration tribunals in France, England, Switzerland and Germany.
