Career
Empresa of the National Institute of Industry. The following year he began to practice Law in a foreign investment consultancy firm on the Costa del Sol. In 1987, he joined the Higher Corps of State Civil Administrators. In 1988, he was posted to Málaga to the Territorial Management Department of the Ministry of Justice, as Deputy Manager. Two years later, he was transferred to the Civil Government of that city as Adviser to the Technical Office (Ministry of the Interior). In 1992, he was appointed Director of the Palacio de Congresos de la Costa del Sol (TURESPAÑA – Ministry of Trade and Tourism). In 1993, he joined the Legal Corps of the State Council and was assigned to Sections 3 (Home and Territorial Administration issues), 5 (Economy and Fiscal issues) and 8 (Environmental, Agricultural, Fisheries, and Industrial and Energy issues). He was appointed partner of Gómez-Acebo & Pombo in 2000, where he is currently responsible for various areas of the Administrative, Regulation and Competition Law Department in Madrid, and Lead Partner of the firm’s office in Málaga. He is an Associate member (Académico correspondiente) of the Spanish Royal Academy of Jurisprudence and Legislation.
