The firm

Moratis Passas was founded in 1990 by the joining of the previously individual successful private practices of lawyers George Moratis and Dimitris Passas. In 2010 the firm was established in the form of a law firm under Greek Law and is located with two offices in Athens.

Over the past two decades, the firm has built a highly-qualified and experienced team of lawyers, from wide reaching legal backgrounds and international studies.

The widely-recognised expertise developed over the years has led the firm to be a top-tier ranking among Greek law firms, especially in the fields of banking and finance, capital markets, litigation and dispute resolution and corporate law. Gradually its areas of practice have successfully expanded over most fields of the financial and corporate sectors, including commercial law, mergers and acquisitions, project finance, shipping finance, insurance, competition/antitrust law, real estate and intellectual property.

At Moratis Passas, the main goal has always been to serve its clients with high-quality innovative and effective solutions and not reproduce conventional thinking. The firm is based on the boutique corporate firm model, offering tailored and meticulous advice on the three-point principle of providing services in a problem-solving, business-oriented and time-effective manner.
