Career

Paolo Iemma specialises in banking/financial/investment services, insurance and asset management business as well as in market abuse regulation. He provides advice and assistance to listed issuers in relation to their on-going duties, including disclosure requirements and treatment of price sensitive information. He also advises on regulatory compliance and anti-money laundering. Paolo works on both customer and counterparty disputes, regulatory investigations and disciplinary proceedings in banking/financial/investment services and the insurance field.
Prior to joining the firm in 1998, Paolo worked in the legal department of CONSOB, the Italian public authority supervising and regulating the financial markets and the investment services sector. 
He has written several articles on financial and banking services regulation and regularly lectures on the same topics.
