Career

Saverio Schiavone specialises in employment law and industrial relations. A former judge, he is an expert in restructuring processes, human resources management, trade union law, contentious matters and employment contracts.
After graduating from Rome  “La Sapienza” University with a Law degree in 1987, Saverio became a judge in 1989 and held judicial office for ten years before becoming a member of the Italian Bar in 2001 and turning to the practice of law. He joined the firm in 2007.

Cristina Capitanio is advising steel and mining company ArcelorMittal on employment-related matters following the acquisition of Ilva, including consultation procedures with unions, workforce structuring and outsourcing. Other highlights include assisting Convergys with strikes and handling individual and union claims to the Labour Court arising from the closure of its offices in Milan. Paola Tradati and Nicola Bonante left in March 2018 with four associates to join Gatti Pavesi Bianchi Studio Legale Associato; Alessandra Ferroni and Saverio Schiavone now lead the team, which also features Raffaella Betti Berutto.
